Matthew 25 Movement

Strathmoor Presbyterian Church has committed to being a Matthew 25 congregation. As a Matthew 25 congregation, we join together with other congregations, presbyteries, and the national offices of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) to help multiply a loving commitment to radical and fearless discipleship by embracing one or more of these three foci:

...by advocating and acting to break down the systems, practices and thinking that underlie discrimination, bias, prejudice and oppression of people of color.

...by working to change laws, policies, plans and structures in our society that perpetuate economic exploitation of people who are poor.
